ABOUT ALL SAINTS' EPISCOPAL CHURCH
OUR VISION
All Saints’ parish accepts the call to be a community which enthusiastically celebrates, lives and proclaims by word and example the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
OUR COMMUNITY
As a diverse but traditional parish of over sixteen hundred members, we think you'll find in All Saints' a community that welcomes you warmly, strengthens your faith, invites you to a deeper relationship with Our Lord, and challenges you to spiritual, emotional and intellectual growth.
ABOUT BAPTISM
Baptism is the initiatory rite of the Christian Community. In the words of the Catechism, "Holy Baptism is the sacrament by which God adopts us as his children and makes us members of Christ's Body, the Church, and inheritors of the kingdom of God."
ABOUT MARRIAGES
We rejoice with you in the news of your interest in marriage and your wish to have that marriage blessed at All Saints' Episcopal Church. All of us at All Saints' stand ready to assist you in making this one of the most beautiful and joyous events of your life.
USEFUL RESOURCES
From local to national to international - we have a variety of resources available to you. We also want to share our member site, newsletters and Church Bylaws with you for your convenience. If you're looking for prayer assistance, we have resources for that too!
PLANNING TO VISIT?
Some visitors want to be noticed, others want to “fly under the radar.”
Here at All Saints’ we want you to feel welcomed and comfortable. We have some helpful tips on how to make your visit more welcoming.
Tell Us Who You Are
In the pew racks are Welcome-Cards. Please give us your contact information, so that we can welcome you personally. That card can be dropped into the offering plate or handed to one of the ushers.
Welcome Gift Bags
If you introduce yourself to one of the ushers or greeters, they would love to give you a bag of goodies. It contains information and a few small gifts.
Enjoy Coffee and Socialize
After the 9 a.m. service, there are always coffee, tea, and doughnuts available in DeWolfe Hall. During the program year, there is an Adult Forum in the same location beginning at 10:10 a.m. that lasts about 50 minutes.
Join Us for a Newcomer Coffee!
Four times a year, we have an informal coffee for those who are new to All Saints’ - whether new members or recent visitors. If we have your contact information, you will get an invitation or two or three. Please come. It’s a great way to meet the clergy, their spouses, and other members of the parish in a casual setting.
Weekday Visitors
On weekdays, the best way to enter the building is the entrance on Penticost Street. Please ring the bell and someone will admit you.
HISTORY OF
ALL SAINTS' PARISH
All Saints’ Episcopal Church has been serving west Fort Worth for more than 50 years. The church was started as a mission on June 16, 1946 and was elevated to a Parish church two years later.
In 1949, the Rev. Canon James P. DeWolfe, Jr. was called as the church’s second Rector and held the position until he retired in 1984.
All Saints’ became the Cathedral Church for the Diocese of Fort Worth in 1986. In 1991, the church renounced its Cathedral status and reverted to the status of Parish church. The church celebrated its Golden Jubilee (fiftieth anniversary) in 1996.
All Saints' is now gearing up to celebrate it's 75 year anniversary in 2020!

About All Saints'
Episcopal Church
We, the community of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, are called to bring all people to a closer relationship with God and each other in Jesus Christ.
Jesus charged his disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. On the first Pentecost so long ago, the disciples were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. It didn’t matter what language people spoke or where they were from. They went out and shared the Good News of Jesus.
St. Francis of Assisi once said that we should at all times preach the gospel and, if necessary, use words. The apostle Paul says we are all given different gifts, and we are charged by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to use those gifts. This web site describes the many ways in which the people of All Saints’ use their gifts to preach the gospel. It also gives an indication of the many ways in which the people of All Saints’ − and, indeed, the world − receive the ministry offered by this parish.
Whether we are offering or receiving ministry, the connections we make with others bring us closer to God in Christ. All Saints’ offers many paths for ministry. These include programs and events that welcome both young and old, both newcomers and long-time members. From one-time opportunities to long-term commitments, there is something for everyone! We invite you to prayerfully consider how you will minister in Christ’s name in our community and beyond."
- The Rev. Christopher N. Jambor, Rector
